How Linkedin Got Started

How Linkedin Got Started

Recently, I discovered the collection of business interview podcasts on Mixergy.com.  Most recently, I listened to this interview with Konstantin Guericke last week.  Excellent.  (Free, too.)

Konstantin talks about how he and his partners looked at ideas, tried a few, got stomped, and eventually created Linkedin.com. People who are avid users of that site, business owners, and podcast listeners will probably enjoy it. (I can also recommend the interview with Paul Graham, but it’s not as directly relevant to most of my clients.)

I particularly like the little bit about “we used to meet for dinner and discuss possible business ideas, but then we realized we were getting too many calories.  We switched to walking together once a week and talking about our ideas while we exercised.”
